Good Shepherd Toys is a small family-run business based in South Africa specialising in handcrafted wooden toys.
Operating from their workshop in the Port Elizabeth smallholding area, surrounded by God’s Creation, they produce high quality toys promoting a wholesome childhood based on christian values.
Many of our clients will know us from our previous brand “love.dominique”, where we focused on making beautiful wooden nursery decor for baby rooms. After eleven years of this, we launched our wooden nativity set for children in 2016, which instantly became our best selling product. It has remained our top seller every year since.
In 2019 we launched our first wooden animal and birds sets, which were met with so much enthusiasm that we decided to focus solely on these wooden toys. This choice was motivated by their success and the joy we find in designing and making them. With the experience of over 15 years of working with wood and paint, we are confident that we can offer you excellent products and service.
